The practice provides National Health medical services to patients in the Aberdeen area.  The practice has approximately 11,000 patients and covers the city of Aberdeen.  The surgery is situated in the centre of the city and easily accessible by public transport from most parts.

New patients are registered from within practice boundaries.  Patients may ask to see any of the doctors at the surgery but home visits are made on a zoned basis.  If a patient moves outwith the practice boundary they will be asked to register with another practice.  Details of the area covered by Albyn Medical Practice can be found under the "New Patients" header.

Albyn Medical Practice was re-awarded the prestigious Quality Practice Award (QPA) by the Royal College of General Practitioners (Scotland) for the second time in 2007.  We first received the award in 2001 and are proud of the standard of care we offer to our patients.
